Brick + Laurel is a single warehouse space in East County San Diego. Hosts keep telling the same story: it already looked beautiful before they added a single decoration.
The long tables
Dark wood, hairpin legs and string lights overhead
Whitewashed and exposed brick walls, timber trusses strung with warm bulbs, and long dark-wood tables that one host set for 40 with room left for standing tables. Four dining tables and 45 chairs rent on site if you want them.
The bar and the chalkboard
A bar, a chalkboard and a grazing table come with every booking
Hosts turn the bar into whatever the day needs, from a mom-osa bar to a coffee station. There's a full-sized fridge to keep things cold until service and a large sink for prepping flower vases, so your caterer and florist have somewhere to work.
The lounge corner
A macramé corner that is already the photo spot
Rattan chairs, a soft rug and a macramé backdrop make the corner guests gravitate to for pictures. Add a custom three-color balloon arch and it becomes the focal point one host called fabulous for pics.

The room changes with the event. The rules stay simple: book by the hour or the whole day, and bring the caterer, baker, florist and decor you already love.

What hosts ask first
The room is set up for 15 to 50 guests. One host seated about 40 at tables and still had space for standing tables, and another had almost 40 guests with room to mingle.
Yes. Brick + Laurel has an open vendor policy, so you bring your own caterer, baker, florist and decor. There is no required vendor list.
Hourly rental is $149 an hour with a 4 hour minimum, in a daytime slot (8am to 4pm) or an evening slot (5pm to 12am). All Day Access from 8am to 12am is $2,200 and includes 4 dining tables and 45 chairs. Ask about the discounted weekday rate for Monday to Thursday events.
Every booking includes the chalkboard, the bar area and the grazing table. Tables and chairs can be rented on site, and custom balloon arches are available. Hosts have also used the full-sized fridge and the large prep sink.
